My favorite singer is Pandit Amaradeva. He was born in 1927. He performed a great service in the singing field of Sri Lanka. He learned music from his father. He has worked as a music director in many films and has sung songs in many films. Accordingly, he has received many awards. He also received many awards such as the Indian Padma Shri, Sri Lanka's Kala Kirti, President's Award, etc. Accordingly, he passed away in 2016 after doing a great service to Sri Lankan music.
